About Me

I absolutely love what I do! I get to work with amazingly talented artists/bands/musicians. With 17 years experience in the live sound arena I have been labeled as one of the best engineers in the Lubbock area. Humbling. My recording experience is going on 8 years now and you should be hearing a sample of my latest project right now. I have also been on staff at South Plains College in the Sound Technology Program for 6.5 years and I love helping/teaching students about the workings of a studio. Band Members: It is much easier to be a good equipment purchaser than to be a great musician or sound engineer. Think about it...
Influences: I've been a Christian for 27 years and I believe in a God who wants to "know" His children and have a relationship with them like a father would have with his son. I believe this relationship is only possible through faith in Jesus. This rocks my world everytime I think about it.
Sounds Like: Some of my current favorite artists include... David Wilcox Mindy Smith, Train, Mute Math, Jonatha Brooke, Allison Krauss, John Cox, Nickel Creek, Jude Cole, Monte Montgomery, Jennifer Kimball, and Patty Larkin. I'm a huge 70's/80's fan as well ... Pretty much, I'm into anything that makes my fist pump, my head bob, my hips shake, my head think, and my spirit swell. If it moves me I like it, regardless of genre or style.
