About Me

I am a freelance photographer based in Portland. My website is:
http://www.evrimgallery.com
I shoot mostly weddings, but also portraits, seniors, kids etc. I accept assignments all over the world. This year alone I shot in Cancun, Sayulita, Las Vegas, New York etc.
I am originally from Turkey. I move to US in 1996 and got my graduate degree at Duke University - a Masters in Computer Engineering. I moved to Portland in 1998 and worked for Intel for 7 years, the last 5 of which I was doing photography as a second full time job. I left Intel in April '05 to follow my passion in photography. No regrets whatsoever!
I have recent various awards from many organizations such as WPJA, and WPPI. Most recently I got second place in WPPI Photojournalism Image Contest among thousands of professional photographers all over the world. My work has been featured in many magazines and newspapers.
I feel very lucky that I have a talent that allowed me to follow my heart.
