The Faculty, " They Can't Lose!!! " That seems 2 be a stament that really fits these guys. They have a winning combination. I mean take Drastic for an example, he is known highly throughout " The Land " for his unique and creative freestyle/battling skills, not to mention he can adapt his flow to any music style!!! His whole demeanor is influential because he does things his way and brings you into his own world and gives you a very good tour of it!!! You will never catch this man doing what the next man is on the mic!!!Next you got Jae B; who is the youngest member of the group, but will probably be one of the major standouts in the squad!!! He is the key to the average consumer because of his down-home skills and welcoming wordplay!!! If listen closely to the music you will notice that he has a unique swagger, so much that if you were to put him on a track with anybody it would be kind of hard not to vibe to what he's rapping about!!!And then you got Razor Blade!!! This guy is soulful and at the same time he is a warrior, lyrically!!! He has equal underground and commercial appeal alike! He has a very unique rhyming skill filled with out of the blue statements, sharp cadence, and very slick and clever punchlines!!! But don't take him as a punchline artist he also possesses the ability to make and complete songs by throwing all around aspects into the scenario; not saying that he does it better that anybody else, but that is just one of his standout qualities!!! Oh and last, but not least he also is the groups in house producer! If you doubting his skills on the beat side of things check the tracks " We Can't Lose ", and " Work Hard "!!!!How can you lose when you got three artists of that caliber in one unit together? You really can't !!! The group was formed a while back when a dj by the name of Chicago had opened his music store up in a somewhat popular shopping mall!!! He provoked a cypher to begin amongst the few MC's that were already in there checking the store out. The three that stood out were of course Drastic, Jae B, and Razor Blade!!! He felt them so much that decided to put them on his forcoming mixtape ( Dj Chicago presents: Bring The Heat vol. 13 ). He chose for them to rap over a popular local artist's track that was already killing the streets of Cleveland at the time and still is ( " I Dun Came Down " by Fat Al ). The three chose to instead of just doing freestyle type rhymes over the track, to just do a mixtape remix of it and they called it " Round My Way ". When that hit the streets it got as much love as the original!!! It then that they decided to form a three headed beast that would takeover the streets of Cleveland and then run things in the industry and call itself, " The Faculty "!!!!!!
