Jerome Jefferson (G-ROME) started DJing around the age of 10; he was introduced to the DJing world by his mother (UNIQUE SOUNDZ) and uncle (DJ J-SMOOTH). They played a big role in his development as a DJ, seeing as though he learned all of his tricks from them. Unlike most DJ's
G-ROME did not have a name for himself, it was until he turned 12 that his mother named him "J2." That name was catchy and caught attention, until his first year of college. He was renamed to
G-ROME, which is now what he uses today.
G-ROME started producing at the age 11, still during the time he was into DJing; the first time he made a beat was with an old drum machine given to him by his uncle. From there, he moved on to a lot of other music making/producing games like: "
Parappa the Rappa" and "
Music Generator 2." When
G-Rome turned 14 he begun to experiment with the beat software "
FL Studio 6" , from there his real producing career blasted off. He made his first hit called "
Showtime." Over the years,
G-ROME's talents have blasted through
Myspace; where he's met other talented producers and artists, on the grind, just like him. He's also featured on sites like:

SoundClick,
Youtube, and more!
