I'm a Stand-Up Comic and Actress! First, thank you for taking a look at my site here!
MY BIO:
Born in Philadelphia, but growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, my humor is a combination of ethnic eccentricities and my unique life experiences and observations. All of my grandparents were European immigrants, from Ireland & Poland, so I grew up hearing many stories of their life in Europe and their adventures of coming to America. Growing up in an Irish-Polish household...no wonder I ventured into stand-up comedy! While growing up I always did accents and goofy characters. Being an only child, this was a way to entertain myself and annoy my parents at the same time. I would do "command performances" for classmates who demanded to see me perform. I would put on impromptu plays for my family (parents, aunts, uncles, extended family - anyone who would tolerate it). I enjoyed it, but my cousins who got dragged into doing these plays were not very appreciative.
I have acted in plays, playing various character roles - frequently getting "comic relief" roles - Mrs. Peterson in Bye, Bye, Birdie and Lucy in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.
A few years ago I gave stand-up comedy a try, and I've been hooked ever since! I have performed in many comedy clubs up and down the east coast. In addition, another venture was organizing, producing and performing in a comedy show for a non-profit organization.
I am a big animal lover. You can see photos of my cats in my pictures. In addition to being a stand-up comic and actress I work in a network operating center and I'm a videographer.
I think I look pretty damn good for being 100 years old, don't you think so?

Oh, and let me think I look like Kirstie Alley and Lara Flynn Boyle, will 'ya? Let me have my fantasy world for God's sake! NOTE: I find it a bit scary that I out of the 8 on the list, 3 are men! They did tell my parents I was going to be a boy. My mom thought she was going to be raising an Edward! Go figure!
