Ever since Lennert Bezemer started making music, he has been pushing limits and exploring boundaries within his music. The results: an intriguing electronic sound, with influences that vary from techno to electro. In 2006 he started his own recordlabel; Dualblock Recordings.From his early DJ-ing years on, Lennert has always been busy discovering new things. His intelligent blend of music combines the best elements of techno, electro and house. It is this sound, that turns every one of his DJ-sets into a unique experience. In 2002, Lennert Bezemer joins Wildpitch, the first DJ agency in the centre of Holland. After some successful years of various bookings and interesting gigs, he creates the Techno Unite concept. Although the infamous Techno Unite parties dont take place anymore, the memory is still very much alive in the Dutch techno scene.2004 is the year in which Lennert Bezemer becomes a resident at brand new techno organisation Full Spectrum, where he puts his heart and soul into a new electronic sound. At the end of 2004 another residency is added to the list: Lennert starts spinning at the Poema club in Utrecht on a regular basis. He also appears in various clubs in The Netherlands and plays with artists like Extrawelt, Dirtcrew, Chris Liebing, Alexander Kowalski and Paul Kalkbrenner.When his Full Spectrum and Poema residencies come to an end, Lennert decides to focus on something that has been a dream of his for many years: starting his own record label. In 2006, he presents his Dualblock Recordings to the world. Dualblock Recordings is a label for electronic dance music like techno, electro, house and things in between. The philosophy of Dualblock is based on friendship, companionship and sharing knowledge and passion for music. The label welcomes both experienced artists and new talent.This year his first release on vinly will see the daylight under the name "Durë 3". This is a project between 3 friends who like to make music just from the hart without any commercial ideas in mind.
Aside from making music, Lennert also writes for the well known Dutch dance magazine DJBroadcast.
