About Me

Been into music pretty much since I was born. Had classical piano and violin lessons for 10 years from age 6. My brother Tony and I taught ourselves guitar, bass and drums. We had bands based in Hastings, England, and we played all over UK and Europe. Played with English punk star Hazel O'Connor for a couple of years, toured UK, Europe and USA, went on TV had hits etc. Played with several other bands too, before joining Aussie band Icehouse in '82. Stayed with them 6 years and toured all over the the world several times, and had hits including Electric Blue, and did more TV etc! Co-wrote their hit "Crazy". Also wrote songs recorded by many other artists, including Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Heart, John Waite, Jim Capaldi, John Farnham (worldwide number 1, You're The Voice), Alan Parson's Project, Tom Jones, Olivia Newton-John etc. Still occasionally play and write with Chris Thompson (ex Manfred Mann's Earth Band, singer of Blinded By The Light). Currently playing keyboards and guitar with Southern California's only Foreigner tribute band, Jukebox Heroes. Also writing songs and music for a stage musical version of Kipling's The Man Who Would Be King. MyGen Profile Generator
