My real name is Alex J Murphy was married with a son, and was working in a different precinct of Detroit before being transferred, along with a number of officers, to the Old Detroit district, on order from OCP. Old Detroit was the most crime-ridden portion of the city, with a high rate of officer fatalities — many at the hands of Clarence Boddicker the head of a local crime ring/syndicate. My new partner Anne Lewis and I were chasing some bank robbers we managed to chase them to a disused steel works, I managed to shoot one of the bad guys but ended up being surrounded by the gang and was shot to pieces by Boddicker and his cronies they blew my hand and arm clean off. My partner Anne stood and watched the whole thing the bitch never even jumped in for me.After i was killed OCP decided to use my body for a new Robocop prototype, Good old Bob Morton from OCP decided to give me completely Titanium Skeleton and coated me in Kevlar. They also programmed me with some Prime Directives. Serve the public trust. Protect the innocent . Uphold the law.
