STR8 Caine has been rockin' the mic and the Midwest mix tape scene for over 10 years...This NW Ohio MC is a product of the streets and the reality of a hard knock life....I was born to a single parent household...my step dad was a crack fiend and my moms did her best in raising me." Explains Caine "She was a high school dropout living the everyday struggle, basically a child trying to raise a child. After I got into the game, I went back to the roots of Hip Hop... after 2Pac died I became a monster on the mic. I was slaying all comers on stage, at cyphers and on the street corners...I used my life as my canvass for my art, my words and lyrics began reflecting my frustration and need to be heard...
