About Me
Howdy! Hmmmm....about me. I was married on 4/22/06 to the love of my life, Brian. He is amazing and I could't live without him. We just passed our 5 year anniversary as a couple. He is the head painter for a local school district, owns his own painting company, and was a local pro wrestler (he just recently retired due to injury). His character is a vampire named "Kahyman". He is on MySpace if you want to see more of him, he is in my number 1 Friend spot, so he is easy to find.
Our son, Xander Chase, turned 1 on September 6. He is the most handsome, perfect, and hilarious little boy ever... just look at my photo albums. He is a spitting image of his Daddy, which is just fine by me. The only difference is his denim blue eyes which he gets from Ma-Ma (Brian's mom). He weighed 7 lbs and 12 oz at birth, and had a full head of dark brown hair. His hair has gotten lighter since then. He has been running all around for months, he is very social and loves to go out and meet people. He spends his days at a wonderful in-home daycare, since Brian and I both work full time.
So, what else? Well, we live in Arnold, Missouri, in a house that we bought in mid 2005. After years of renting, and moving 6 times in 3 years, it's really nice to feel like a place is really HOME. We live on the best street ever, and are good friends with many of our neighbors who we hang out with a lot of the time. We have 2 pets, Louie the basset hound (who we adopted from a rescue in July 2008, after Tootie passed away in June), and Kiddo Kat, who I rescued from the city pound when he was a baby in 2001. I was a mortgage loan processor for 3-4 years, but I started a new job in late 2007 as an administrative assistant for a wealth advisor/financial planner. It's not my dream job, but it's okay. I like my boss, our office is nice, and the pay is decent, but the hour-long commute each way SUCKS.
Some of you may know me as the non-nude, internet glamour model Starr Shannon from starrmodel.com, or one of the other 2,000+ websites I used to be on. I was a glamour/bikini model from about 1997 until 2003 with a strong internet presence, and was Miss Internet World 2002. Then I was a photo-rating site addict, and posted many amateur photos on those sites until about 2004. After 7 years, I finally shut down my modeling website in early 2007.
Modeling was a lot of fun for a while. I met some cool people, went on some great trips, and got published in several calendars, in a magazine, as a video game vixen, on a billboard, and countless trade shows and appearances, and was on The Jenny Jones Show(Title: Your Words Were Vicious, Now My Looks Are Delicious!).
I was always told becuase of my height (or lack thereof) that I could never model, and the only reputable agencies in our area wouldn't even talk to me, so I am very proud of every accomplishment I have made, ON MY OWN, without agency representation. I started by doing local bikini contests in 1997, by working as a Hooters Girl in '98, then discoved the world of internet modeling in early 2000, which is when things really took off.
I had many experiences that I will always treasure, but more than anything when I am old and gray I can look back at all my old photos and smile.
So, now I'm an admin assistant...not quite as glamourous! But I'm very excited about my life with Brian and our little man. Hopefully we'll start working on "Baby #2" sometime in late 2009. I am truly happier now than I've ever been in my life. I am having a great time touching base with so many old friends on myspace, because I really hate losing touch with people. If you remember me from somewhere please send me a message- I'm sure I'd love to hear from you.
