About Me

"I have always had love for music. More than anything else, I have had an extreme passion for electronic music. Growing up in the Southern United States, I was not exposed to different music. When everyone just listened to whatever was popular on the radio; I always got excited hearing different music like Depeche Mode or KLF (at a very young age). I didn't really get into dance music until I met an exchange student from Germany and he brought all his trance cds from Europe. I was hooked after the first track. I collected all the music I could get my hands on. My first experiences with DJing came at the age of 15 when I came in contact with a DJ at the local college radio station. He taught me the basics of mixing and gave me my own weekly slot to play electronic music, which was really unheard of in my small Southern hometown. I made tapes and passed them around to friends to try and get the music out. I didn't think of becoming a serious DJ and producer until I saw Tiesto perform live in Atlanta. The way he was able to interact with the crowd and they way they responded to the music was amazing. Soon there after I got my own equipment and started making mix cds and doing gigs at small clubs, restaurants, house parties, wherever I could.With the help of my good friend and amazing producer Dave Gabois, I am currently working on my production skills and updating my studio. I have many new projects and remixes I'm working on that I plan to release this year. One of which being my first artist album that should be done some time this summer 2007. I will also continue my monthly mix series called "My World" and "My Energy". The "My World" series is a mix I like to do at the beginning of every month, which consists of a collection of my favorite new and classic beautiful, deep, and more melodic tracks. I do "My Energy" to close the month with some of the best pumping, driving, energetic electronic music around. I love my mix series because it really gives me a chance to take people on a journey of new music and it reflects the way I'm feeling at that time. Tracklists and Downloads are available on my website every month. I can't wait to share my music, mixes, and remixes with others. Hopefully one day my music will inspire someone to open their mind to something different as others have done for me" : )
