Often, you'll catch one of them shaking their head thinking about how great it is to be in this band! Or, just as often, you can see an audience member rear back their head when they hear the first five notes of a song they love, but had forgotten existed. That's what it's all about.Entertaining to hear and see, they play songs that aren't normally covered by most bands. Drummer Extraordinaire Go-Go Ray says, "It's like going through a haunted house... you just don't know what's coming next." The band performs old Southern Rock, new southern rock, old blues, new blues, ballads and hard-driving metal, 60's to today, a token country song, and a few tunes we know you've never heard. No radio station would get away with this! But Little Wing can... and they do. They never fail to be a crowd pleaser!The diversity built into the set list is intentional. Not trying to dilute their sound, or try to please a few people all the time, they play the songs that are fun to hear and play. Fun because they are challenging, interesting, or just easy on the ears. LIttle Wing strives to remind everyone listening that may have a dream, any dream, to go out and do it. They aim to show the audience that with a big dream, surrounding yourself with the appropriate folks and some downright determination and drive, you can have it all!Little Wing plays songs to have fun and demonstrate a dream come true. Pretty simple, huh? If you have ever said, "tell me again why I'm doing this?"
