Mr. 509 started rapping in 1999 with two of his best friends, Yves Rodrige, and Mackenson. They started a rap group, “Shadow Boysâ€. It started small, but it was just the beginning. They all shared the same passion for music, which solidified the group. Unfortunately, in early March of 2002, Mr. 509 had to say goodbye to his Shadow Boys and move to New Jersey. While away from his group, old neighborhood and friends, music was his consolation.As he began to acclimate slowly to his new environment, he developed a relationship with his cousin who also shared a passion for music, not just rapping but producing as well. Two years later he moved to Boston. After returning to Boston, he went to school at West Roxbury High, which was where he met Buck 85, Mc Luke, and Lil Jay, They started throwing parties together and having fun and eventually these friendships led to the formation of the rap group, Tchuko Boyz .
