Gentry Jones

Gentrys passion for music quickly grew ever since he picked up his first copy of Paul Oakenfold's "Voage Through Trance" set. Right away he fell in love with hypnotic appreggios and synthetic harmony. He listened to artists such has Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto,Bt, ATB, Armin Van Buuren, 303 Infinity, and Skylab. After a couple years of studying almost everything about the world of Electronica, Gentry looked into creating a world of his own. He started sampling and sequencing basic cheaping sounding beats in 2000. Gentry was hooked ever since he made his first techno song. His knowledge of programs grew and his songs became much more advanced. In the year 2004 Gentry released his first album, "Another Way". For an independent release on a low budget he made a decent success. His music was shared with many people just as hoped. Gentry's music production came to a hault for about 11 months after the release. One day in the summer of 2006 Gentry came a across a new production program. He installed it and right away he recognized its powerful potential. He started a new project and released the single "Fire Wire". Many people were pleased with the new perfected sounds of Gentry Jones. He continued his work releasing 2 more trance singles "Pictures" and "Daydreamer". Today, Gentry Is Majoring in Music at Sonoma State University. Just by chance, his room mate Brian Dagget aka shaggy B.D. can sure bust a flow. Through collaboration Gentry has released to singles featuring shaggy B.D.
