I am here for Friends

About Me

I grew up in Luxemburg-Casco, and I was educated there until i got my diploma. Then i went to college at UW-Manitowoc for two years. Now I am much happier here at Oshkosh, living life up. I love it here. I just graduated with a bachelor's degree in International studies w/ a geography emphasis and minor and I hope that I will stick w/ that or I will be in college forever, not that it's bad or anything........ but it costs money to stay there too. I wasn't ready nor able to afford to study abroad but I still wish to see the world some year soon. But first I need to make a few thousand dollars to get me on my feet in the real world.

My Interests

Life is gotta be interesting, and it still can be so even if you spent most of your life living in the middle of fricken no where. So until I arrived at Oshkosh my interests have been keeping myself healthy running in the summer, (don't run in the winter, yeaaah i'm a big baby when it comes to going out in the cold). I love music, ice skating, swimming (whenever i can), Amazon parties (you'll have to ask what that is later), going to garage sales and taking pictures. Since Oshkosh I proposed a new interest in Amtgard, although I am now retiring for the winter b/c it's sort of getting old. And open to new interests along the way. I like alot of Medieval dress up things........probably the big reason why I had joined Amtgard haha......I been meaning some day..........(SOME DAY, and you know I will!) go to the Renissance fair b/c everyone's gotta see one in their life time......right!? Hehe anyway I like burning candles (can't do it in the dorms :-( ) and insense and one thing I inspire to do is drink herbal tonic teas for taste or medicinal purposes. I used to have an herb garden but that was back in the day when i had the time to care for one.........someday i'll pick that hobby up again. Also ethnic cooking.......mmmmmmmmmm Thai food is the Shiz-it! I also am wierd and i eat with chop sticks whenever the food seems appropriate for it. Whut? You don't eat Ramen noodles with chop sticks? I doooooo :-). Anyway that's probably more than you need to know about the Steph :-P. OOoooh and I love cats too, those clever little creatures, I doest wonder what ever they think about us silly humans every now and then.

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet all kinds of people, but mostly I enjoy meeting people who are from different countries and talk w/ different accents and all that jazz. I definitely respond well to people who are crazy like me and people who are out going. People with humor, and/or creative people who can inspire me.

Music:

I enjoy most music except country music.....music just sounds icky to me.....hehe. Anyway some of the music i most enjoy are world beats, music such as Arabic and Middle Eastern, Indian, Mexican, um........European and other countries too. I like alot of new age rock and punk, or just ordinary alternative music. 80s music rocks as well :-), b/c i grew up with the music. There are even a few raps songs I will listen to but it generally has to make the pop list. I listen to even some pop artists such as Kelly Clarkson and etc. Anyway that's probably all my taste of music.

Movies:

The Mummy I, the Mummy II is ok. Will Farell movies rock! HE's the next Christ Farley (God rest his soul), Pirates of the Carribean rocks my socks. Waiting for the next one to come out some day. And I dont know most movies are fun.......I'm generally not too fussy b/c i rarely see many movies. OOooo and the latest Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp........hehe he's such a child hating dork in that movie it's freaken hallarious.

Television:

Travel channel, National Geographic, Comedy Central, History Channel, anything but ESPN or sports in general.

Books:

Meh, who the hell has time to read? I stumble on the internet and work with that....there's plenty to read online!

Heroes:

None other than the infamous Jack Sparrow! (Also, Bono (lead singer of U2 and Aid for African countries, and Chris Farley too.) No body else matters :-P j/k.oh yes, my parents too :-)
