Jade Marie.
Jesus. And Buddah. And Mother Theresa. ah what the hell, Adam Sandler too. Ok, ok, Johnny Depp can come along. And where the hell is MR. RIGHT??????
Folk, blues, americana, etc. Just please dont play me any techno or electronica (really people, that is NOT music) or that Brittany Spears genre whatever its called and all that goes with it. The popular music these days generally blows. But the 80's, well, nothing can touch the 80's. Some things are simply sacred.
Pirates of the Caribbean. Pulp Fiction and Amelie, as well as Parenthood and Pretty Woman are all faves. Anything with Johnny Depp or Adam Sandler is well worn in my collection.
Kill your TV, it is evil. E-V-I-L.
Baby Books, the soft ones that make crinkly noises when you touch them. The Happies Baby on The Block, and The Baby Book by Dr Sears. I USED TO dig classics (Ayn Rand and Aldous Huxley), stories based on real events/people (Irving Stone and Edward Abbey), and some occasional mind candy (Harry Potter and Oprah Books). The Economist (weekly British news mag)has been replaced by Baby Talk magazine.
My grandparents, Wonder Woman, Darth Vader and Jade Marie.
