About Me

I don't feel alive unless I'm creating something; that's why I spend a lot of time painting - my art web site is SharonLeong.com, or QueenofBpaintings.com (both URLs will take you to the same place). I love music and used to be in a funky alternative rock band, playing trumpet, keyboard, and writing songs. Investigating the paranormal is another passion of mine, which I do as a member of the San Francisco Ghost Society (SFGhostSociety.org) and with Ghost Trackers. I'm also a member of the International High IQ Society because I wanna help solve the world's problems! LOL! People who know me well say I'm a bit eccentric and odd (could it be because I collect 2-headed and 4-legged animals?).

My Interests

Exploring the unknown; dancing the hula (I'm better at Hawaiian than Tahitian); sharing with friends and my Artist Biker Gang buddies - we're the only biker gang with no bikes!

I'd like to meet:

People who love to laugh, and who are open-minded.

Music:

Can't live without it.

Movies:

The Devil and Daniel Johnson; Time of the Gypsies.

Television:

Looking forward to upcoming Ghost Adventures series, Ghost Hunters, re-runs of Dead Famous, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Amazing Race, Cold Case, and Sunday and Monday night football.

Books:

I'll read anything from trash to philosophical tomes. More specifically, a few of my favorite works are: "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" (Hemingway), "Story of the Eye" (Bataille), "Watt" (Beckett), "Permanent Midnight" (Stahl), "Will Storr v. the Supernatural" (Storr), "Haunted Las Vegas" (Oberding) writers: Palahniuk, Ellroy, Hegel, Hesse, Burroughs, Eggers, Dostovesky, Foucault, Twain, Wilde, Dickens, Tennessee Williams, and the list goes on (I have over 4,000 books in my permanent collection).

Heroes:

Pat Derby, who with her husband, formed the Performing Animals Welfare Society. They created a beautiful sanctuary in Northern California for retired circus and zoo animals, and also saved many tigers and lions who were abused by people who kept them as pets!
