About Me


Hello - thanks for taking the time to read this. Here's a little bit about me.
My "creed" if you will, is to love everything. I try and see the oneness of all things. The Universe is my country, and love is my religion. I include myself in this, my body and mind, so I try to take care of myself.
I'm an introspective, deep thinking person with a desire to above all, enjoy life. My enjoyment comes from understanding what love is (love in the broad "creative source of all" sense - the universal creative force, if you will), and exploring what is possible once this knowledge is obtained.
I'm an artist who tends to look at life in a philosophical way. I feel a deep need to explore and through my explorations somehow help the world as well as myself. I am happy, confident and curious. I love life, I have a deep respect for people with compassion, people who know how important it is to give. People who see themselves as more than just their body - they see themselves intimately connected and a part of everything.
I've done a number of varied things in my life. Out of college I was in sales in the "corporate world" for 12 years and gradually found it to be too "restrictive", I kind of grew out of it, you might say. Since then I have pursued a life of creating. I did stand-up comedy for a year (late 80's). I had a comic strip nationally syndicated. The best part of that was the writing of the material - thinking of humor. Not a bad way to go through life, I still do laugh quite a bit.
I did nothing but paint for a couple of years, quite a interesting experience. I still do but now in conjunction with a lot of other activities. Art will always be a part of me. I get more out of doing it than selling it, I do it for that reason.
I've been self employed since 1994 and love the freedom it provides. The freedom to choose my path and to go as high as I want to go. I don't think I could ever go back to being an employee again.
Here's a favorite quote of mine:

Who am I?
I am but a reflection of yourself. If you see beauty, then you are beautiful. If you see love then you are loving. If you see spirit then you are spirit. I am but a mirror of what you have made of yourself. I am also an opportunity to re-make yourself if you don't like what you see. If this is the case, change yourself and watch the world "change" with you.
