as you can see i joined the Army yes i am 38 and i did this to live out a dream of mine. In March i had a surgery that i didn't think i would wake from but by the grace of God i did and late that nite i thought to myself if you died today what would your obit say and the only thing i came up with was "She was a good mother" i wanted to leave something for my children to be proud of. So in August i went to boot camp and lets just say that was something that only God himself got me thru. And i found out that i was stonger than i thought and get this i can do push-ups (got smoked a few times). I have met a lot of people from all around the world. I have learned so much yes i joined late in life but i belive that this was the best time for me. My children are grown and i am for the first time in my life free to do what ever i want to. so in the next few years i will have to learn how to do just for me .Thru it all i have to give thanks to God for getting me thru and my husband who was there to tell me i belive in you when i didnt belive in myself and my sister who is also in the Army for telling me to Suck it up when i would cry from the pain that was going thru my body. My family support was unreal and i am so thankful and very grateful to them all. I have proved to myself and my children that you are never to old to live out your dreams as long as you take God every where you go. ARMY PRIDE!!!!!! AND 40 ROUNDS<div
