Born in Greenwood, lived between Greenwood and McCormic, Yappa realized he had musical talent earley on and embraced it but ran into many roadblocks. He then met Quint Griffin and things became brighter. Yappa formed Versatile with Siwel (Jerry Lewis), Lo (Keith Harrison), Q.E. (Quawn Edwards), and recorded a few songs but never an album.
