It's a Texas thing. Y'all wouldn't understand.

About Me

I’m a little bit nutty, but they make medication for most of it, so it’s ok. I may seem a bit obsessive and controlling sometimes, but that’s only because I know how things should be done, and that’s how I want them. I really am a sweetheart, though. I just have a hard time dealing with stupid people, and with the stupid things they do.

I'm kind of a drama queen sometimes, but mostly in a fun way. I believe that sarcasm is an effective form of humor when it's done right, and I tend to lay it on a little thick sometimes. But I'm just a little too good at it, so you can't always tell when it's being done. (Just ask my husband. He still isn't sure half the time.)

My Interests

travel; nature; music; movies; reading; history; mythology; Tarot, dream analysis, and otherwise exploring the unknown; studying all (or at least most) things mystical

I'd like to meet:

Nice, interesting, happy, fun, smart people.

Music:

I'm mostly a country girl at heart, but I still like to throw a little bit of variety in the mix now and then. Pretty much anything that doesn't give me a headache will work for me - it just depends on my mood.

Movies:

Princess Bride, While You Were Sleeping, Hope Floats, Practical Magic, Go, Fight Club, Full Metal Jacket, Office Space, The Breakfast Club, American Beauty, Clue, Monty Python movies (especially Holy Grail), Disney/Pixar collaborations, and many, many more. Movies are a good thing.

Television:

Stargate, The Simpsons, Nip/Tuck, 24, South Park, Scrubs, Gilmore Girls, Charmed, ER (most of the time), Buffy and Angel (They may be gone, but thanks to DVD they'll never die!)

Books:

To Kill a Mockingbird, Gone With the Wind, The Tao of Pooh, The Celestine Prophecy and The Tenth Insight; stuff by Scott Cunningham, Gerina Dunwich, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Grisham, and Kurt Vonnegut ("Slaughterhouse Five is a classic."); all things mystical and/or educational; anything else that looks interesting... Reading is fundamental, right?

My Blog

Nice to know I'm not that evil

Well, I may be going to the 7th level of hell, but at least I can take some comfort in this. How evil are you?...
