About Me

Hi! About me? Let's see.. I moved to Florida in 2006, where there's lots of trees and bugs and rain and fun outdoor things to do like canoeing and swimming with manatees and watching the lightning. I also got married in 2006 to a big giant sweet man! NOW WE HAVE A BABY!!! She was born in our home with a midwife in November 2007. Soon we are moving back to California, that is my 2008 accomplishment. :)
I am stubborn. I am smart. I am sometimes impatient. I am forgetful. I enjoy cleaning bathrooms. I like comfortable clothes. I dislike wearing shoes. I enjoy reading so much that I frequently plow through an entire book in a day or two. I obsess about hygiene. I am afraid of germs. Spiders creep me out. I am lazy about shaving my legs in the winter time. I procrastinate. Sometimes I am self-concious about my body. I get extremely embarassed if I do something that makes me look dumb. I am an intensely loyal friend, even though I am bad at keeping in touch. I dislike mean, arrogant, and ignorant people. I enjoy baking. I recently found out I enjoy cooking too. I would like to learn how to sew, and re-learn how to knit. I love animals. I am a good "couples" dancer. I enjoy warm balmy evenings. I love my husband very much.
I am good at keeping secrets. I am a quiet person unless I am excited or tensed. I take pride in myself. I am honest. I am concerned about people's feelings. I am tactful. I am friendly. I am approachable. I am emotional and temperamental. I am moody and easily hurt. I am witty and sparkly. I am not revengeful. I am forgiving but I never forget. I dislike nonsensical and unnecessary things. I guide others physically and mentally. I am sensitive and I form impressions carefully. I am caring and loving. I treat others equally. I am fair. I have a strong sense of sympathy. I am wary and sharp. I judge people through observations. I am hardworking.

I like: Blue Grass, Cajun, old school Country, and Classical music. No, I am not kidding. I also like: Polka music, Mariachi music, and Punk. Oldies, Classic Rock, Techno, and The Spice Girls. Haha they have their own category. To sum it all up, I really will listen to any kind of music except gangsta rap. :)

Television:

I watch Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Lost. I also watch The X-Files reruns, Law and Order SVU, and Law and Order CI. I love The Discovery Channel. I also enjoy Animal Planet and HGTV, as well as the National Geographic Channel and sometimes the History Channel. Oddly enough, I really don't watch too much TV. I must confess.. I have voted for American Idol contestants.

Books:

I looooooooooooooove books. I love to read. A book store gift certificate is a very appropriate gift for me.

My favorite books are The Princess Bride, The DaVinci Code, The Color Purple, the Harry Potter series, The Shining, The Wedding, The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.. I'll add more as I think of them. (I do have a bad memory.)

My favorite author is Dean Koontz, and I recently started reading all of Stephen King's books. Update: Children's books are the new thing in our house!

The last book I read: The Secret's of the Baby Whisperer by Tracy Hogg.

Heroes:

My Dad.. the most honest and smartest man I've ever known.

My Mom.. loves me unconditionally with all of her heart.

My Grandparents.. they brought their family to this country with nothing but some dishes and made their dreams come true.
