About Me
Stuhr is a two-man production team out of Brooklyn, NY. Dan Chen is a professional songwriter and keyboardist, who regularly writes and collaborates with prominent New York artists including Nicole Atkins (Columbia), and Mike Doughty (ATO). Nate Greenberg is a professional producer and film composer, who has worked with artists including Mya (Interscope), and Goapele (Columbia). The two combine their individual creative abilities with their extensive industry experience to make a truly versatile team. Their original focus was primarily on electronic production, but with the expansion of their studio they have been steadily branching out to produce live rock and pop artists. Stuhr began working in 2002, producing several tracks for the band Moonraker's self-titled debut on Immergent Records. In the years following, Stuhr has had many of their remixes appear on commercial compilations (Bebel Gilberto Remixed, Buddha Bar VIII, Oscillate Records Vol.1, Christmas Remixed I), and have had their music appear on television shows including Entourage (HBO), Grey's Anatomy (ABC), Ugly Betty (ABC), One Tree Hill, (CW), Boston Public (Fox), CSI Miami (NBC), and Bones (Fox). Stuhr has worked with artists including Nole Hogan (The Cranberries), Bebel Gilberto, and Dub Trio (Roir). They co-wrote and produced Natalie Walkers debut and sophomore albums, both released on Dorado records (in 2006 and 2008). Currently Stuhr is co-writing and producing the full-length record for Color of Clouds, featuring singer Kelli Scarr.
Praise for Urban Angel (Natalie Walker):
"...a delicious, aching trip-hop stunner that floats gracefully through the mind like cool air on a globally warmed summer day. Written and recorded with two-man Brooklyn production team Stuhr, Urban Angel never touches down to earth...As she glides through the album like a lighter-than-air cirrus cloud, the accompanying music creates subtle electronic backdrops meshed with acoustic touches."
- Philadelphia Weekly
"'Urban Angel' is the beautiful and haunting debut album from...Natalie Walker. Recorded in Brooklyn and produced by Stuhr, it’s mix of Folk, Soul and Electronic."
- Giant Step
Praise for "With You" (Natalie Walker):
"Solid production from Stuhr abounds. Violin string picking and fluttery beats match with Walker’s ethereal voice..."
- Glide Magazine
"I am quite fond of the album, Walker's milk and honey vocals oozing effortlessly over a sea of chocolate and caramel beats, melodies, and grooves. No part of this album fails to satisfy, each track bringing the musical palate another tasty, sumptuous trip-hop/pop/adult contemporary/chill/jazz treat."

Misc:
"One of the biggest things reggae has in common with club music like drum and bass and techno is the deep bass sound you can feel in your heart, and in that respect, a few of these remixes have succeeded. I found the more loping, dubby tracks (like the Stuhr remix of “Don’t Rock My Boatâ€) to be the most appealing."
