first and foremost a muzik lover and dj, i love to rokthadiskotek!!! i don't know when exactly, but i've always known that i was gonna be a deck-wrecka rockin the clubs, parties, and airwaves.
i've always been into music ever since i can remember. i have had musical training, but there is just something about the sound of the black-crack when the needle touches the record and the hypnotic way the red light makes the strobes look when the platter spins round and round that brings a smile to my face everytime.
i started djing in '97/'98 when i was in college. around that time i was a party kid, but the more parties i went to, i found myself gravitating towards the dj booth. so naturally it only made sense to make the transition.
i hooked up with this kat, T604, whom i met through a friend at college. there was this "talent show" at school and T6 asked me to dj with him at this show. i said flat out "but i don't know how to mix records", and he's like "well, you better start learning. so come hang with me and my boys and spin some of your tunes." from that moment on, it has been a non-stop obsession searching for the perfect beat. two years later, i graduate from college and surprisingly a better bedroom dj. from there, i worked at a record store and that's where my dj career began.
there ain't nothing like djing and working the crowd and making them feel your vibe. i'm addicted to the beat and people jumpin to the unison.
