About Me

Welcome to Myspace :) I am a songwriter affiliated with our local chapter of NSAI and have had many great songwriters share their knowledge with me. I love to meet others that write- so drop me a line. I know we tend to live in our own little worlds- I know I do. If I friend requested you, it is out of the genuine thought and interest we might have some things in common. If you have music up, I have likely listened to it or will soon. I am also a full-time mom/wife/ patient living with a rare disorder called dysautonomia. You can find out more about the dysautonomia's at www.potsplace.com or www.ndrf.org. Living with a serious illness has given me quite a few things to write about :) Those emotions have to go somewhere- might else be in the form of a country song- lol. But I do have a great support system and tremendous faith. You can find out more about my faith and Contemporary Christian pursuits by accessing my other music page at Carmen Melton Taylor ( I'm my number one friend below :) Regardless, thanks for stopping by- I look forward to getting to know you :)

Back to Basics

So, I usually state my yearly goals on here.  I'm not doing that right now but I will tell you a new, personal goal I'm working on.  To write a song a day- completed if possible.  Period.  I have to g...

What the world needs now......

I didn't want to say anything ahead of time because I know things can turn on a dime for us- but I was part of a political rally tonight in which local musicians surrounded a lake at the park and "Pla...

Songs for me

So, the past year or so has been a strange ride.  I've taken a lot of time ( a lot of quiet time) to just let my mind go wherever it needed to creatively- individually, and with others.  I f...
