I am here for Friends

About Me

What’s there to say about me? I have an eclectic array of interests (Astronomy, ancient history, etymology, psychology and mythology-just to name a few). I work for a local community college as a Math tutor and Learning Lab Specialist. I just started taking classes again, working towards an AS in Computer Programming. From time to time, I get moments of amazement while viewing the natural world (watching a flock of birds move in perfect synchronization, realizing the complexities of our Sun, etc). I, also, want to travel (Italy—Pompeii, Rome, Venice; Greece; France; England; NYC; Chicago). I want to walk the Appian Way (an ancient Roman road). I love the idea of touching a piece of history-something someone hasn't touched in hundreds, if not thousands, of years! I love having thought provoking conversations. Anything more and you’ll have to message me (it’s how I keep things interesting and “mysterious”!).

Music:

Linkin Park, AFI (Sing the Sorrow kicks ass!), Led Zepplin, CCR, pretty much if it sounds good I'll like it (I try not to limit myself to blind devotion to a band...sometimes, they can suck...but I'm open to anything new) song parodies

Movies:

Boondock Saints, Goodfellas, Spaceballs, The Princess Bride, Spider-Man, Batman and Batman Returns (they went down hill after that one), The Count of Monte Cristo, Signs, Life of David Gale, Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, The Wickerman (really cool, really fucked up movie), MST3K: The Movie, Life of Brian, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Team America: World Police ("America: FUCK YEAH!"), Phantom of the Opera, and I'm sure there are more...
