I'm from Chicago, born and raised. I've played saxophone since third grade, been in school bands since either 4th or 5th grade ( I don't remember). I took up guitar around 8th grade, playing on my dads horrible old acousitic, the Instant Callus Maker 4000. My dad's mantra was, if you can play something on that guitar, you can play it on ANY guitar. And damn was that true.
I started messing around in fruity loops, clicking on those little dots. And got my own Taylor Big Baby to play on. Eventually I tried making more complex things in the piano roll, and sampling songs, and now I'm trying my hand at equalizers and all that jazz. Just recently I started teaching myself to play piano, but I do it mostly to figure out things to put into fruity loops.
