By: Daniel Tegan Marsche ............................................................ ....... My Review:__I enjoyed the journey provided by this read. The books facts were historically accurate (at least, one of the most accurate exotic novels I’ve read. Mr. Marsche did a wonderful job transporting me to this time and place. The story is told from the eunuch Neferu's point-of-view and flowed flawlessly. It was incredibly easy to read, however, very difficult to put down.This is an historical fiction tale of desire, drive, choices and consequences with The Eunuch Neferu. Upon the canvass of Roman-occupied Egypt in 23 B.C., this literary tapestry is woven using a rich and enchanting combination of history and human emotion. Controversial and thought provoking, The Eunuch Neferu chronicles the life of a boy who rose from desert poverty to aristocracy in ancient Alexandria. Illustrating both the power and delicacy of the human spirit.The Love between Aurelius and Kebryn was warm and beautiful and it made sense that his agony at the end would lead him to consider his final decision.The Eunuch Neferu was brought to life for me. It gets a little steamy here and there, but I can't give away any of the details without feeling as though I've revealed its entirety.In closing - This book will capture, enrapture and seduce its readers. Great journey, sad ending, outstanding author. The Eunuch Neferu was truly wonderful and I believe I will be reading it again and again. Moreover, I recommend you read it.
