About Me

Dave Matthews and The Rolling Stones, Qwest Field, October 17, 2006!Who am I? Interesting question...
I've now got some pictures on Flickr. Check 'em out and use them if you want to! http://www.flickr.com/photos/star512/
As of June 18th, I've got a new job; the one I've been wanting for the past few months. It's going to be weird after working here for 5 years; but I'm excited for the challenges ahead!
I love changing my profile song, and my ringback tones. Maybe I do it too often.
However, I can't bring myself to change my profile layout.
Things that are always hot on guys? Tattoos, piercings(especially multiple ear piercings), and silver rings on their fingers.
Oh yeah, also just a plain white T-shirt and jeans. =)
Captain and Coke/Sprite and Buttery Nipples are my favorite drinks.
I think it's great to be a little "different" at times.
I'm a hopeless romantic.
I miss having someone to hold hands with.
My one fear is I'll never experience real love; either loving or being loved.
I wish that people would always follow through when they say that they will do something.
I love giving massages, and I'm told that I'm pretty good too.
I love the summer concert season.
Yeah, me in a nutshell.
Sometimes I blog here, sometimes I don't. You can catch up with me more on my LiveJournal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/mellamoestrella

My Interests

Things I like? Photography, music, going to shows, hanging out with friends. Hmm, I like tattoos (on myself and others). I also love entering contests. Radio call-ins, online stuff, lottery tickets. If you know me in real life, you know I've won some cool shit...
Random Links:
These are definitely the most kick ass wallets I've ever seen! (You can also see some of the other designs at Portland's Saturday Market)
Here is a great, free place to host your pictures!
Gift Cards to here...
Or here... make GREAT presents for Star!
This site has lots of CDs; Local Artists and more! (They're also based in Portland, so shipping is fast!)
Probably the most random store I've ever seen! (Check out the bacon bandages if you don't believe me!) If you're ever up in the Ballard area of Seattle, you should visit it in person.

One of my favorite blogs to read
Another fun blog!
Awhile back, I won a movie ticket and an iPod Nano just by searching for stuff. I use Blingo instead of Google. You can be part of my Blingo list of friends. Then if you win something, I win the same thing! Check it out:

This is probably one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken... Oregon Country Fair July, 2003.

I'd like to meet:

Um... people? I don't know... guys are always good ;) Especially if you have any of the following: piercings, tattoos, a bald head, at least SOME sort of intelligence, the ability to use a good movie quote or song lyric at the appropriate time (and the knack to recognize the ones that I choose to use). I'm also a sucker for a good smelling guy. Aqua Di Gio is nice!
I love it when people leave comments on my profile. *hint hint* If you have AIM, don't hesitate to add me and say "hi" AIM name: WTPoohLover (Or if I'm slacking at work, I'm under "StarAtTheOffice")
I would also like to meet Dave Matthews. I know that he's married, but he's still one of the sexiest men alive. I like a boy that can sing I guess. Every time I go to Seattle I think to myself, "Man, it would be SO kick ass to meet Dave Matthews." Haha. I'm a nerd!
Do me a favor, if you ask me to be your friend; be someone I know or at least send me a message too!

Music:

powered by frazy.com
It's always fun listening to new music, well as long as it's not country or hardcore rap. Sometimes though, I think I'm still stuck in the early 90's alternative sounding kind of stuff. Oh well. Thanks to my sister Tori, she's gotten me into a good mix of stuff that I might not have listened to otherwise. Local bands are fun too, then if I really like them, I can see them more often than others!

A Matter of Perspective?

The people in my office, including the managers, are generally pretty chill.  That's one reason that I like working here.  Besides, I typically get along with most people.  It doesn't m...

Ben Vs. Noel

Last night I saw a preview of a movie called "The Strangers" with Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman.  Seeing that hot piece of man candy named Scott reminded me on how much I loved "Felicity" when it ...

Seriously sometimes it's the little things in life that make me the happiest. Things that don't necessarily APPEAR to be a big deal, but can make the day THAT much better. *Going to City Grill for a S...

I Can’t Let Go

Today was a fun day.  We had a BBQ at work today and that's always chill.  Here is a shot of one of our team leaders eating a sausage... with bacon on top of it... all on a bun slathered wit...

Mmmmm...

For breakfast I had an 8 grain bagel with cream cheese and a glass of chocolate milk.  There's something just so satisfying about a glass of chocolate milk.  It made me happy.
