I am working toward a PhD in Political Science with emphases in International Relations and Political Theory. I have to say that its a great time though also a pain in the ass. More than anything, I love
a good discussion about political and social issues and if
you can throw a little wit in, I'm certainly grateful. Since everyone thinks I'm obsessed with Michel Foucault these days, if you want to talk about him, I won't be able to pass it up.
I'm someone who loves the mountains; I am from Colorado
after all. There is nothing to compare to the sheer
grandeur of standing in a green valley covered in
wildflowers, surrounded by massive stone monoliths caked
in snow, and a deep blue sky overhead that only the
mountains can produce. Cheesy, I know, but I miss the mountains. Ok, I admit the Sierra in California is pretty cool too. Whatever the case, I'll make any excuse to get to
high altitude, yet I don't get to too often now. This is not to say I don't love the city; I'd hope so since I'm in NYC now. And who could complain about that. NY is the Mecca for just about everything! Meet me at the Beer Garden!
My Interests
I'd like to meet:
I'm looking for thoughtful, intelligent, and funny people
to grab a drink with, talk philosophy and politcs, go
hiking or skiing with, watch films, or go to concerts, theater
etc. Don't be too full of yourself and we'll get along
just fine.
