My Interests

Travel; Summer 2005 I traveled to France and Spain with my wild friend Georgia. We DROVE through France and Spain, visiting the Louvre and the Prado, Cathedrals, Churches, and Monasteries. We saw Neims, Arle, Gehry's Guggenheim in Bilbao, Toledo, Sevilla, and Madrid. Summer 2006 has been London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayr and Alloway.

I am up for nearly anything--my father loved jazz, my mother was a longhair, I was raised in New Mexico with western music and still love the Everly Brothers and Willy. Randy Newman.

Billy Connolly performances... I LOVE HIM!:
My favorites are, in declining order of importance, Still Crazy, Snatch, Meet Joe Black, any documentary, Supersize Me, all of the Spider Man and Bat Man movies, just saw the Gore film, An Inconvenient Truth - 3 times!

Television:

I don't watch TEEVEE.

Books:

I am reading The Rembrandt Book, Italian Painting before 1400, "M"--the man who became Caravaggio, Icons and Saints, The Lost Painting, The Artist's Complete Guide to DRAWING THE HEAD (no comment) and I'm still REreading The Power of Now, and Autobiography of a Yogi.

Heroes:

Gandhi, Joseph Campbell, Tonto, Billy Connolly all of the artists (writers, actors, sculptors, dancers, designers) who have given their time & energy, life & love and not been appreciated until after they are dead, if at all.
