Hi I am Pofink aka Paul Finch and have been doing music since the tender age of 16.Mainly in punk bands but over the past 10 years bringing in drum'n'bass beats and other dance rythms.I have toured Europe roadieing for various rock'n'roll and punk bands in late 80s and early 90s.Lived in Sweden and Germany meeting good musicians and experimenting with music ideas.I lived in Deptford London in 90s again roadieing and being in punk bands.Met a bloke called ed who was also interested in mixing punk rock music with drum'n'bass.He moved to Hastings so I followed and we got to play our noise locally in the local area.It worked quite well but Ed moved back to London for college work.End of the band Return to Zero.So I went to eastbourne college on a music technology course and met a Hastings guitar player,James who liked the ideas I was thinking of.He had a drummer friend Will who could play drum'n'bass rythms live.We played Hastings,Brighton and London.Done a few demos and then split.Good stuff though.End of the band Dark Decibels(Ddb).I have played in various bands since then but now I am living on a farm and recording music in my own diy studio.Have been working with Ruth,a local singer/songwriter recently on tracks.She is on www.myspace.com/moonchildruthiosmusic. if you want to check out her stuff.I have recently been working with local musician Seth and he has sang on two new tracks.More recordings will come in the future and hopefully gigging in the local area of Hastings.Hope you enjoy.
