Wut up this ya boi, J "Thorough" Barrows CEO of Man Up Entertainment. My journey up until this point has definitely been a long one, but a wise person once told me: "a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step". If u listen to 9 out of 10 rap artists, they talk that hard street life sh**, I don't know about ya'll but I'm tired of that sh** so check it… I was born & raised in the city of St. Louis, MO., where I was taught a lot of the things I know today. I've always had a strong passion fa music. I started rapping in the 5th grade ‘cause I learned that I could express how I feel thru metaphors, punch-lines, a hook u can groove too, a blazin’ a** beat, and a story of words that tell u exactly how I feel & what I’m going thru. For a long time I only listened to ole school cuz dat’s wut my parents were bumpin’ that makes me a young man with an old soul, but every other chance I got, it was rap. As I got older, (from my middle school years thru high school) I met a lot of different people doing this rap thing. I used to perform down at a local skating rink (Saints) whenever they let cats on stage. I've chopped up many demos with cats from KayPee, my man Mark a.k.a. Kemo Diddy, Mini Monsta & hella more. And all this was basically my peewee dayz. I was a workaholic for this sh** even back then. As I grew up, situations caused me to relocate to Alabama. I've since appeared on five albums wit the label, Freewill Records (much love to them boyz, they showed me mad love when I moved down South). I've taken numerous trips promoting, appearing, & advertising for me and mine. I’ve traveled from Anniston, Birmingham, Talladega, & Atlanta just to name a few. And so u don't have no questions about da folks dat’s running this thang, read back a couple of lines & let my credentials speak for themselves. I am 1/4th of the Man Up movement & this is something that can't stop & won't stop, so "Stand Up fa Man Up!!!!!!!!!!!"
