JEFF HARDING
January 2007 - JEFF TAKES A JOURNEY ACROSS THE POND.
Jeff spent the first two weeks of January in London recording his next album with the help of some pretty talented friends.
Rej ap Gwynedd layin' it down on bass. Rej has worked with artists like Natalie Imbruglia, Apollo 440, and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Kenny Dickinson, who is currently recording and touring with KT Tunstall, on keyboards.
Jeff also had the opportunity to work with engineer Chris Brown, who has engineered/mixed Radio Head, The Beatles Anthologies, INXS, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Bon Jovi, Jimmy Page, Mark Knopfler, David Gray, and several others.
Chuck Sabo, who has worked with Elton John, George Clinton, Brian Eno, XTC, INXS, Seal, Tina Turner, and Bryan Adams, played drums for this album which will be released sometime in the Summer of 2007.
Jeff's acoustic-and-rhythm flavored songwriting has led some of his
local fans to make comparisons to current contemporaries such as the
Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer. While Jeff definitely has his own
distinctive musical identity, he is honored by these comparisons. In September 2004, Jeff completed his first original album with the
help of Chuck Sabo, a seasoned professional session and touring
drummer. Chuck's resume includes work with: Elton John, Bryan Adams,
XTC, George Clinton, Natalie Imbruglia, Tina Turner, Cher, Brian Eno,
and Seal to name a few. Chuck engineered, assisted with production,
and of course, played drums on the entire album which is entitled,
'Nobody Knows.'Today, Jeff is ready to embark on the next leg of his musical journey,
determined to draw upon all of his experiences and passion for music
to carve out what figures to be a successful career as a recording and
touring artist. As of September 2006, Jeff is currently in the studio.
Again teamed with Chuck Sabo, Jeff plans to release his next album
sometime early in 2007. -Jason Wilkeson
