Ok here's the deal. If you like The National, The Decemberists, Wilco, Arcade Fire, Dave Matthews Band, Paul Simon, The Beatles, Radiohead, The White Stripes, The New Pornographers, Justin Timberlake, some of the more socially aware hip hop artists, good electronic/techno/dance, good indie pop, good singer songwriters, any derivates of the bands listed, you're alright with me. Just don't come to me and claim that Linkin Park is better than the Beatles. You can like them more, its fine, but understand the difference between personal preference and musical relevance, importance and ability.
Magnolia, Its a Wonderful Life, American Beauty, Shakespeare in Love, Usual Suspects, Wizard of Oz, Dead Poets Society, Donnie Darko, Bull Durham, Honey, Little Miss Sunshine. I'm not a movie freak, but I like movies a lot, and usually when someone brings one up or I see another list, I'll go "oh yeah, I liked that one, too"Don't ever see Brick. Its awful. I watched Heroes and Chuck. Those are my shows. Now I watch Eli Stone. I try to watch the office, but really don't end up seeing it. I do sometimes thanks to the DVR. Same with Scrubs. Love The Soup. Ive lost respect for SNL since they started becoming Hillary's TV show. Baseball Tonight is amazing.
