God's Children originally formed in 1990 and played regularly for over 10 years. They took a few years off and are now rocking it out again for all the fans and friends that refused to let the band or the music fade away. Their performances are full of energy and talent and the audience is drawn in right from the start. This is a group of guys that truly love music and love playing it and it really shows.
God's Children has also stormed onto the big screen. The band's music appears on a multitude of movie soundtracks including the Polygram film, "A Thousand Acres," the Warner Brothers hit "Vegas Vacation" and Disney's "Man of the House." God's Children has taken over the "small screen" as well, with their music appearing in HBO's "Hard Justice," the NBC Movie of the Week, "Born into Exile," the CBS movie "The Good Doctor," and the ABC Movie of the Week, "Outrage." Their music has also appeared on such highly rated prime time television shows as "The X-Files," "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," "Touched by an Angel," "Time Cop," "Promised Land," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and the premier episode of "L.A. Firefighters." They also had an agreement for the continuous use of their material in the soap operas, "Guiding Light," "As the World Turns" and "Another World." God's Children is an original rock band. Their music is hook-driven and guitar-based. It can be edgy or it can be smooth and melodic. In writing music for over a decade, their music has evolved and progressed along with the band members themselves. With such a variety of influences, their music cannot be pinned down to an easy one-word description.
