Mainly R&B, but I like other kinds of music also. I can tolerate almost anything. I like Whitney Houston (always&forever),Janet Jackson, Beyonce/Destiny's Child, Usher, Nee-Yo, R. Kelly, Justin Timberlake, Luther Vandross, Ludacris, just to name a few. But, that barely scratches the surface of every artist or genre that I like.
Action, I love action movies, and I like suspense also. As long as it is something that can hold my attention. Comedies are a must. Independence Day is still one of my favorite action movies. Bad Boys I&II, Armageddon, Crash, Friday, Titanic, Pearl Harbor, any Madea play or movie, Dodgeball, Four Brothers, Transfomers, Step Up, Stomp the Yard, You Got Served (some of it), things like that.
I watch One Tree Hill, Rescue Me, One on One, Girlfriends, The Game, ER, CSI:Miami, Prison Break!!!,Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Friends (in syndication). Reality wise, I watch American Idol & Dancing with the Stars. I'm hoping the reality TV phase will cool off soon.
I don't really have time for "leisure" reading. I'm doing a lot of moving, making changes................ New school, new books. I've graduated to Pathophysiology, and Nursing Concepts and Theories. Homework comes first ;)
My parents. They have sacrificed a lot for us (my sisters and I). I am greatly appreciative of everything they've done. Also, for the life lessons they've taught us.Oprah Winfrey is not necessarily my hero, but I have a huge amount of respect for her. I really admire people who think of others, and put forth and effort to help. It's not just her, there are many people who aren't as widely publicized, that help make a difference. I would like to make my own contribution one day.
