About Me

well, let's see. i work at a gas station doing basically mindless work way early in the morning. i don't exactly enjoy it, but i needed something to keep afloat until i go back to school and find a better job. i love spending time with my daughter, she loves every moment of life and lives it to the fullest. shouldn't we all be that way? i also spend a lot of time with my family, if i can, and try to be outside as much as possible. the earth just feels so good under my bare feet! :) im learning patience... a lot of patience, haha. i'm also making a valient effort to be positive and always look at the bright side of my life... it seems to be working, but i still slip up once in a while. i made a move to AZ, but came back... it didn't really work out at the time, but we'll see what the future brings. As i said before, i have a five year old daughter named McKenna who is the most beautiful girl in the world (blond hair, blue eyes,... PERFECT) and i can't wait to spend this summer with her as much as i can. most of my free time i've been filling with learning new things and trying to keep myself occupied. I'm working on painting and thinking about taking violin lessons just to learn an instrument. i feel like things just keep getting better! i chill with people who i feel have minds of their own and/or kids i can influence... you know who you are guys. :) lots of heart goes out to you! i'm really excited for the festivals and good times that this summer has to offer, can't wait to play in the sun!!!!! i'm a pretty busy lady most of the time, but i make time for the important things.Layout made by

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who has an open mind, is honest and forthright, accepts ideas that don't necessarily agree with their own, will keep their heads in chaotic times, and will always stand by their beliefs and brothers/sisters. Let me know if you want to chat, i love meeting new people!
During December 2006 and January 2007, many newspapers carried stories with titles like the following:“High IQ Link to Being Vegetarian,” Intelligent Children More Likely to Become Vegetarian,” “High IQ Children Become Vegetarian Adults.”Interestingly enough, two years ago there was a worldwide poster campaign with the title: “What Has Eyes, Intelligent People Do Not Eat.” Now just this has been confirmed by British scientists.SummaryWith every 15-point increase in IQ, the probability that a person will not eat meat rises by 38%. This was published in a new study in the “British Medical Journal” of ..he StudyThe purpose of the study was to determine whether there is a correlation between intelligence and a person deciding for a vegetarian diet. Scientists at the University of Southampton used the results of IQ tests taken 20 years ago by children aged 10.The participants, now 30 years old, were questioned on the following: social status, education, income and diet. The answers from 8170 persons (4222 female, 3948 male) were evaluated. The results of the study indicate that the more intelligent a child is the greater is the probability that he or she will become vegetarian later in life. And a vegetarian diet actually has significant medical benefits. Three other studies had already concluded that persons with a higher IQ often have a lower risk of heart disease. A decisive factor for this appears to be a vegetarian diet. A person who doesn’t eat meat lowers his risk for developing heart disease. (References 1-3 in BMJ article). These statements also agree with medical studies carried out by the Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, Germany, which showed that vegetarians have much better test results relating to heart and circulatory disease and cancer.ConclusionIntelligent people are more likely to recognize the correlation between their attitude toward life and their health, thus being more apt to choose a vegetarian diet. This conclusion was summed up nicely by Liz O’Neill, of the Vegetarian Society: “We’ve always known that vegetarianism is an intelligent, compassionate choice benefiting animals, people and the environment.” <mspobj
