About Me
I love my job and couldnt imagine doing anything else with my life. I teach 4 year olds at a great school in Santa Monica. "We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about." -- Albert Einstein. That is how I feel about what I do.When I am not teaching I love to be outdoors. I also love to work out and stay very active, kickboxing, yoga, hiking, volleyball... I will always try anything new. I graduated from LMU with a B.A. in Studio Arts, come from a really great family who I am very close to and consider myself to be a very down to earth person and a genuine one. I love seeing live music and concerts, having dinner parties with friends where you end up talking for hours and hours, good movies, trying new places to eat...the list is long.I dont believe you have to be high maintance, flashy or dramatic in order to be interesting. I am just as comfortable in a pair of jeans as I am in a dress. I have traveled all over the world and still have a long list of places I want to go. I dont smoke, dont drink ,never married, I was raised catholic but am not religious, more spiritual. Ben Franklin once said - "when I do good I feel good, when I do bad I feel bad... and that"s all the religion I need."I have strong beliefs.....I believe you either stand for something or fall for anything. I believe in love, family and laughing as much as possible. I believe the happiest people in the world are not those who have everything, but those who make everything of what they have.favorite quote..."If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will undoubtedly meet with a sucess unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind him, he will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the licence of a higher order of beings. In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will apprear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty be poverty, nor weakness be weakness. If you have built castles in the sky, your work need not be lost; for that is where they should be. Now strive to put the foundation under them."
- Henry David Thoreau
