Influences: lots really. Started off as a big 70's acoustic music fan. Favourites were paul simon, joni mitchell and carole king but that was never going to make me popular at school so I branched out into classical music and went to music college.... that didn't work either. It did mean I got into lots of classical music from a period spanning hundreds of years. I love bach, messiaen, bartok, ravel to name but a few.
these days I listen to bjork, the bad plus, brad mehldau, tom waits, bill frisell, wayne shorter, .. oh, im a massive WOODY ALLEN fan. he's a big influence. also seinfeld. and all the old 70s guys I previously mentioned.
