About Me

The Lone Star is the homegrown product of one local musician who envisioned a music/arts center that would ignite both creativity and community in Austin, the perfect marriage of atmosphere and convenience. We offer not only private lessons on a HUGE variety of instruments but also group classes geared towards adults, teens, children, parents, beginners, pros, art lovers, music lovers and more!The Lone Star School of Music is much more than it's name suggests. We boast a centrally located music store featuring cutting edge products such as Line-6, Washburn and Daisy Rock plus everything you need to get started down your musical path. We also have a daycare facility available to our parent/students as well as a fully functional recording studio.
