SANDYHOOK as it is now formed May 6th, 2007. The music is heavily influenced by reggae, rock and by bands such as Bob Marley and the Wailers,Sublime,Slightly stoopid, Dispatch, OAR, Virginia Coalition and even Led Zeppelin. Our goal is to create music with extremely catchy hooks and bring something new to the table with each song. With local music heavily dominated by pop punk and metal, we love to hear from other local bands with our same taste of music and love to hear feedback. In the next few months were looking to get some good recordings for an EP and start playing more shows. So if you love feel good music with reggae flavor check out SANDYHOOK and spread the love.
