About Me

So about me...
- I love movies, particularly psychological or horror.
- I like to read books, have done since I was knee-high
- I also love music in all different forms and styles, including electro, oldies (Bex knows what I'm on about), etc.
- Wolves are my favourite animal, dunno why.
- Winter is my favourite of all the seasons - snow, Christmas - what's not to like apart from the colds, being freezing and darker evenings to suit criminals?
- Bed time, in my opinion, is the best time of day. There's nothing quite like lack of consciousness.
- I likes me candies. While Gif's buying a burger, I'm buying wine gums.
- Floyd is my favourite bird. He's red, blue and green and the coolest mofo you've ever seen!
- Weekends are the best thing about the week. Don't ya think?
- My family are a bit mental and different. If you met them you'd see why. Those who have tend to agree!
- Lack of intelligence and ignorance bugs me. There's nothing as irritating as stupidity. Except maybe crabs.
- I have a Gordon the Gopher puppet that's I've had for as long as I remember, threadbare, worn, but still alive!
- I look up to my Auntie Leanne because she is cool. She has a habit of country-hopping. I personally don't think England's all that bad.
- I live with me old man, and my brother lives with my mum. Used to be vice versa
- My aunties give everyone crazy nicknames like Muriel, Steph, Reg and Cliff because, like I say, they are a little bit mental.
- Throughout the years, just for being friends with Bex and Gif at school people have assumed we're shagging. We're not.
- I like to give my mates advice because I know I can come to them for advice when I'm in trouble.
- I used to live in LE5, now I live in LE3. Though I won't go broadcasting that in the street round here. Gang wars and all that jazz.
- I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters - the main ones being Nicky and Victoria, then the 'other' brother and sister called Justin and Amy. I also have a niece called Molly.
- My best pet ever was Apollo the Alsatian because he was just the greatest. He died.
- I find materialism unattractive in all personalities. Little dick or little tit syndrome I calls it, depending on whether the person is male or female.

Then there's my mates - we've been through so much and we're still going! Everyone says this but I truly believe I have the best friends I could ask for. I've got Gif who helped me keep my sanity in 6th form and is always, always there. Never been so close to any girl as I am Gif. I've got Becca who is great for advice and late night convos! Along with Gif she's the best for a Harborough knees-up! She makes up the infamous trio! I got Bex, who I have so much in common with (including getting into trouble with the teachers back in the day, and the joy for karaoke at the Brickies!) and knows me inside out, she even knows how many drinks to give me before I get drunk... and throw up, love her to tiny little pieces. Nat and Kels who I can have some of the best times with out clubbing and can talk about anything to. I'd say I've been through the craziest time with these girls, but we're all here now, happy, and a little bit crazy! Then there's Faye, who I can talk to about rubbish for hours on end and not get bored. Not known her as long as the others but she's an awesome friend. Last, but not least, Sophie and Martin. Sophie lives a bit further away now, but I still love her just the same. She's still always up for a party, and I've known her since Humberstone, along with Martin who I've known near enough all my life. Never lost contact with him even after all this time, and he remains to be one of the best male friends I have. Some of us have had our fall-outs in the past, some over the most stupid things, some of them being more my fault than theirs, but when all's said and done I'm glad about where we are now and I'm glad about who we are now. We're all older and wiser and sort of like a dysfunctional family (in a good way!) Each and every one of them has had their problems, yet they've always just stood up and kept going. And for that I salute them. Here's to the oncoming years guys! There's no one else I'd rather share them with!

Doing another exam, jobhunting, fun

So yes, I'm resitting that performing arts exam.  It's not really a resit, since I didn't sit the exam in the first place.  Anyway, I have to go back to St Paul's every Friday to do some rev...

Christmas time. World peace? No chance.

It's nearly Christmas again and I've barely even noticed.  Why do adults hate Christmas?  It's always "I'll be glad when it's over".  What exciting people they are.  No seriously, ...

People can't read, spell, condone stupidity, have bland lives.

First things first. This is annoying me lately. Why do people keep writing things like this on the books bit in their interest section:"I don't read""Who the fuck reads anymore?""Don't care about re...

Least favourite teacher swaps round again.

Change in opinion - Mrs Gray is once again a bitch. She didn't teach us anything for the written exam so needless to say, I didn't go to it. Well she apparently was not amused, and stated that she '...

Least favourite teacher replaced with least favourite teacher.

Well first things first, credit where credit's due, Mrs Gray has certainly changed her attitude since my last blog.  For the past couple of months she's been really nice and helpful.  Not to...

Doherty a stalker, not a good Catholic. Mrs Gray is into rape.

So Dr Doherty randomly bumps into me yesterday and says "Ahh sociology expert!" and I turn to him and say "Erm not really..." and he says "But you do sociology?" and I say yes.  He asks me to fol...

Teachers, good and bad. Ricky Gervais isn't funny.

Dale finally has money.  Isn't that shocking?  The school actually pulled through.  The office actually did something right instead of the usual sitting on their arses talking about Eas...

You dance to a beat that seems out of time to the one you feel in the metronome of your mind

What a pants day.  School was crap.  Amusing tidbit of today? - I commented on Miss Norman's hair, proud of the fact I'd noticed it, when she tells me "I had it done last Wednesday" so I rep...

Fat kids and Popes

Well I got up late this morning because I had the first period free.  Then I had to get to school, and was of course late for Miss Norman/Bowden's lesson.  Though I did do work today.  ...
