Music:
I love all music...what I listen to depends on my mood. My favorites? Well one day you may find me listening to Dusty Springfield (and everyone is now asking themselves, who the hell is that?) James Taylor, Chicago,(the old stuff not the sappy 80's crap). The next day I will be bouncing around the house listening to Simple Plan or Greenday. When I'm feeling nostalgic I pop Def Leppard or Van Halen into the CD player. I may even be caught listening to Frank Sinatra or Nat King Cole. Today I'm listening to Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Otis Redding ("Otis, I love Otis") What you will never find me listening to is Opera or bluegrass. Other than that...anything goes.
Movies:
I don't know that I have a favorite movie... for one thing I usually only see the first half of everything, by the second half I will be fast asleep. I have even been know to fall asleep at the theater... I like all kinds of movies though. Comedy is probably my favorite. I love old black and white movies, Cary Grant and Katherine Heburn in Bringing Up Baby. Love the Marx Brothers, hate the Stooges. I like smart comedy, the sarcasm and inuendos,the play on words. You actually have to listen to understand why it's funny. Of course there is always the classics of my generation. The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Summer School. I have also introduced my kids to Drop Dead Fred, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Young Einstein.
Television:
I am a tv JUNKIE. My favorites are Gilmore Girls, Grey's Anatomy, and Deparate Housewives. I love CSI:wherever, Bones, Crossing Jordan and any Law & Order.
Books:
Janet Evanovich is my favorite author. But I will read anything. I am a regular at the library, when my fines aren't to the equivalent that they have a wanted poster for me on the door. When that does happen, I read the books the kids bring home from school... love reading.
