The one & only Chris "Masiano" Mason is making REAL POWER MOVES. At 24 years of age, this Detroit, Michigan native, has become a highly valuable asset to the music industry for many reasons. This truly motivated Hip Hop singer/song writer has a seasoned history laced with literally hundreds of highly energetic performances to hard hitting tracks, delivered with what could be considered the most precise and strategically dropped rhymes of any upcoming artists within his genre. Chris Mason, by the age of 12 had grown right into an enormous hobby of writing poetry, rap, hip hop, to progressive music. Then at 15, Chris formed the rap band "4:20", which was short lived, however, full of creativity and experiences that will help him forever. At 18, he crossed his raw talent with new found Producer Nickel Slick, which led to maintaining an expanding knowledge base of the process of creating an excellent sounding and marketable product. Weaving the know-hows of Nickel Slick and gigs from Detroit Promoter Ms. Murda, Chris was now capable to perform at open mics/venues in bars/clubs. After years of blood, sweat, tears, and paying his dues, Chris Mason has performed 500 + live shows. With knowledge, strength, and a hustler's spirit, this talented young man also promotes his own shows now as well. Mr. Masiano has featured artist such as Stretch Money, Big Herk, K-Deezy, Magnum (Mtv's Making of the Band), Fire Starters (Live Hip Hop Band), to even releasing his own independent album entitled "I Got Next," which features his smash hits "Welcome to MoTown," and "SummerTime." He has also featured open mic/venue shows for the majority of the rest of the Detroit Underground Music scene as well during this time. This young man is on point ladies and gentlemen. Chris Mason also owns his own company, "Masiano Ent," and runs his very own private studio. With the training and guidance of his new mentor/producer Wood, of WoodTown Productions, Masiano is now also an up and coming producer/recording engineer. But it doesn't stop there folks! He has his own clothing line sponsor, DaCodest Collection, that provides him custom made gear for any occasion. He also has involvment with What Up Doe Radio 88.1fm, "the voice of the streets." With this radio station, he participates in community events such as "Hatz for da Holidayz," a recent give away held in Northland Mall, Southfield, Michigan, at Rock City Jewelry. He also just did the mind blowing "Chris Mason Take Over Show," where he actually took over What Up Doe Radio 88.1fm (every Tuesday 8-10pm or live stream @ www.myspace.com/masianocity, under the blog section) for the whole two hour broadcast, it was amazing! This guy is everywhere people! He is member of 4th Street Records, which is an up and coming record label/company.
