There is a testimony that I want to share that just might encourage someone’s heart. I have been married for eight years now and during that time my husband and I wanted to have a baby girl. Years had past and no baby. By then I was tired of the disappointments time after time. God did say that we would have the child that we wanted. Come to find out I had a 22lb. tumor in my stomach and they thought that I was eight months pregnant. The doctors gave me a 50/50 chance to live and if it was cancer a few months to live. I had a
the operation and they said that their was too much scare tissue and after they cut off one of my ovaries more then likely I wouldn’t have children, But God... A year almost to the date of the operation I got pregnant. This was our Isaac our promise. [The Birth of Isaac] Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what he had promised. All I have to say is "If God said it, It's gotta happen."
I was a Chaplain at Cherry St. Mission Ministries for three years and now I have transitioned into another role with in the emergency shelter for women. I know the season God has me in and what he expects from me, so pray for me. When I see the condition of some of the women that come in I begin to thank God because some of know that if the enemy had his way we were one second from being homeless, one second from having our children taken, one second from be mentally ill, one second from being a crack head or bud head BUT God... I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:3-6)
I've been in ministry for the past ten years. I am now involved with the children church ministry and the children praise dancers. I sing with the young adult choir at my church and I sing with an great group of anointed people of God, The Garment of Praise which is under the leadership of the one and only Pastor George Bostic Jr.
I pray that in the name of Jesus I continue to be everything that God is calling me to be. To always turn our eyes inward our arms outward and our hearts upward. And remember, If God said it, It’s gotta happen.
