About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor and MySpace Backgrounds at MySpace Toolbox !The Owsla have been a lifetime in the making. Often talked about during our slaphappy youth the idea among us was always there. Though slackness prevailed for the most part the dream remained invariably in our hearts. The song writing began in Samuel's bedroom during the winter nights of 2005. The 'dust room sessions' produced a wealth of material of varied styles and with this new found sound we set about the rehearsal room. With Mitch on the skins and the amps turned up we set to! The profound drums and juke joint riffs made way for mules English soul vocals. While we played around with the sound we tried to exploit the constraints of a vanilla 3 piece. The recordings were taken during this time for demo purposes. With the addition of 'Hightower' on bass the band have a different sound again. Playing around with different styles and performing live we hope to record our new material soon.
