PET PEEVES:
*Waking up mere minutes BEFORE my alarm goes off.
*When a sports complex is named after a corporation rather than name that means something to the town/team itself for more than monetary reasons, especially when that names changes every couple years.
*I am of the strong belief that the "designated hitter" should be banned from baseball.
*When people - who are not impaired at all by disability, carrying excess baggage or the like - press the automatic door button because they're far too lazy to open the door themselves.
*Water on the countertops of public bathrooms. Seriously people, its NOT THAT DIFFICULT to take a paper towel and wipe off the countertop before you leave!
IDIOSYNCRACIES:
*I'm ridiculously scared of bugs that aren't immediately identifiable as harmless. Most often, screaming occurs and sometimes tears flow.
*I loathe practical jokes.
*When I'm watching a movie and need to pause it, I'm notorious for pausing the movie at the most unflattering facial expressions of the actor (especially when VHS).
*I memorize and sing random jingles if I think they're worthy of the honor.
*There will be no mixing of different food items on my plate.
*I've been known to brake for birds while going through a Drive-Thru or neighborhood no matter how many cars are behind me.
*I suffer from a "hero complex" and "martyr syndrome".
*My imagination runs away with me often and it generally leads me to very scary places.
*I don't warn people before I take them off my friends list.
*If deemed necessary, I will make a complete and utter fool of myself in public if it will make you smile.
*The children's movie "Good Boy!" both terrifies and depresses me at the thought that my pug could be "recalled" to the planet 'Sirius' never to be seen again.
*I'm more likely to cry watching Hallmark commmercials than enduring physical pain.
IN THE CAR:
*If I'm not singing, lost, or fixin' to sing or get lost - I'm not driving.
*Even if all the windows in my car are rolled up, I have to hold my breath when going through a dust storm, fog, or something of the like...
*When driving on a narrow road, I truly believe that "sucking it in" makes my car skinnier...
*If I fall asleep in the car while you're driving, it's one of the truest signs of trust I can give you.
