I'm a singer/ actress/ dancer/ model in NYC, making an attempt to make my own way in this town. So far so good. I live in the West Village with my husband, who is a kickass house and trance DJ/ Producer...Come on over, spin some beats and have a drink with us. :) I consider myself really lucky with my close group of friends, have an awesome family, and without them I'd be lost.

My Interests

House and Trance Music.....AMEN!!! Hitting the hottest clubs in town and dancing until 5 am, chilling at a lounge with a well-made martini and chatting it up with my best girlies Bex, Christie, Liz and Vanessa, trying out a new restaurant in town. Doesn't everyone like that stuff? Ok, on a more personal note, I love: my family and friends, my kittens Monster and Whimsey, good smells, a great hook in a song that you just can't help but jam to, no matter where you are! But most of all, I love the guy who captured my heart and harnessed my hormones (lol), Matt! Go check him out in my buddy list (Matt DeCosta, aka DJ Dico).

I'd like to meet:

Just cool people. There are tons in this city we love, aren't there? :)

Just a quick note: I support bands and musicians wholeheartedly, and have met and rocked out with some killer bands thanks to MySpace! BUT--I will only add you if I like your music. If your music sucks, I won't. If your music is good and fresh, you'll get a green light. If it freaking rocks my face off, then not only will I add you but I might appear at one of your NYC shows. I'm a tough critic though!

Music:

Well, I do have my own music (kimberlycompton.com), listen to my tunes on my MySpace music Page! But my fave bands of the moment are: Live (the best band of all time, my opinion), Thornley, Jeremy Camp, Goldfinger, Breaking Benjamins, HIM, Rob Thomas....playing now is my original song, "Darkened City." Hope you like it. :)

Electronic Music: Nic Fanciulli, PVD, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Steve Angello, Sasha, Sandra Collins, Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo...and of course DJ DICO!

Movies:

For the most part, I'm a sap and love romantic comedies, or just plain silly movies. I like to be able to escape from the everyday and just enjoy a few hours. With popcorn.

Television:

I'm a sucker and love "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition!" It's nice to see a TV reality show doing something good instead of eating bugs and singing karaoke. My 2 cents!

Books:

I'm a girl. I might sing rock music but don't let that fool you. I love mushy stuff. Stop laughing!

Heroes:

Most definitely my mom...what an incredibly strong woman. If I am half the person she is, I'll be totally satisfied.
