His past bands include Hammered Bass, Blues Messiah, Moondogs blues band, Blues Expansion, midnight riders, and most recently the Vehicle.He has played with many bands over the years including The Devon Allman's Honeytribe, The Recipe, Plaid Iguana Project, Jakes Blues, Rick Magee and the Roadhouse Rockers, Norman Nardini and the Tigers, Jill West and the Blues Attack, Randy Baumann and friends, Orange Whip, Big Jack Johnson, Snake Oil Medicine Show, Cucumber Jones, Noah Wotherspoon and the Stratocats, East Ave., Kip London and the Jump City Band, Plato's Cave, The John Cole Blues Band, Organic Voodoo Machine, Hubert Sumlin, and many others.the sound:Blues, Rock, Funk, Jamband at times. Ron splits time between the Hammond B3 and fronting the stage playing High Energy electric harmonica. They cover an area from Straight ahead blues to sometimes psychodelic improvisational jams. They specialize in doing modern versions of blues standards...always putting their own spin on the song.Ron has independantly released two albums: "The Vehicle" in 2003 and "What It Is" in 2007Ron Yarosz and the Vehicle won the Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania's Blues Challenge in 2007 at Moondogs in Pittsburgh. By winning the local contest they qualified for a spot in the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge being held February 1-3 on historic Beale St. in Memphis, Tennessee.http://www.Blues.orgAside from numerous bar gigs and private shows, The band has played the main stage at the Pittsburgh Blues Fest 2 times and the Erie Art Museum Blues and Jazz Festival in 2006. They have also played at 8 Great Tuesdays in Erie several times. Ron can also be seen sitting in from time to time with Jakes Blues playing Harmonica, and Chance of Reign ..boards and Harp. He also frequents and supports the open Blues Jams in Erie even hosting it from time to time..Thank you for supporting broke ass independant blues musicians....although we are broke we are among the richest people in the world.

Memphis more

I was suprised to see that there were no Hammond B3 players in the finals for the IBC and only one harp player!   Only one harp player in all 10 bands in the finals....and no organ player......
